This training will provide an overview of services options under Minnesota’s Medical Assistance Programs, focusing on the newer service Community First Services and Supports (CFSS) and home and community-based waiver programs. Attendees will gain an understanding of how each of these service options are delivered and accessed. Finally, the session will provide advocacy strategies to address service denials and reductions, including appealing such actions to the Minnesota Department of Human Services (DHS).
