An Update on Solos and the Backup Plan

Minnesota and other states are seeing an increasing number of solo older adults—individuals who cannot or do not rely on family for support. Since 2017, there has been growing interest and progress in addressing the challenges solos face. This webinar will summarize current solos activities in Minnesota and update participants on our successful community building and planning model for solos—The Backup Plan. It will include a review of how the model works and how organizations can start their own Backup Plan groups. Participants are encouraged to submit questions in advance.

Presenter: Linda J. Camp

Linda is an independent consultant, writer, and researcher, who has been focusing on solos for the past ten years. She is the creator of the Backup Plan.
