Anna Solowiej is a Supervising Attorney at the Minnesota Disability Law Center (MDLC). One of her responsibilities is the management of the Representative Payee Program Grant under the Strengthening Protections for Social Security Beneficiaries act of 2018. Under this grant, the MDLC staff conduct financial reviews of Representative Payees and Beneficiaries throughout the entire state of Minnesota. Prior to her work at MDLC, she was a United States Peace Corps Volunteer in Nepal, received her law degree from Mitchell Hamline Law School with a Health Law Certificate, and managed her own law firm performing SSDI/SSI disability appeals. Anna lives in Saint Paul with her husband Scott and her dog Ziggy.
