Safe at Home Address Confidentiality: What Social Workers and Care Givers Need to Know
Safe at Home is Minnesota’s Address Confidentiality Services Division. It provides assistance to victims of violence who fear for their safety. When people enroll in Safe at Home, our office issues them a PO Box address that all entities in Minnesota must accept in lieu of their home address. The alternate address can also be used as one’s school or work address.
This presentation will give a basic overview of safe at home, and dive into specific issues that affect those in social work or provide care as caregivers.
